Charles "The Godfather" Wright Added to Wrestling Night on Friday, August 24th, Part of 2018 Legends Autograph Series, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union

Woodbridge, VA---The Potomac Nationals are excited to announce that WWE Hall of Famer Charles "The Godfather" Wright has been added to the Legends Autograph Series for the 2018 season. Wright will be in attendance for Wrestling Night at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium on Friday, August 24th, the series opener against the Lynchburg Hillcats (Cleveland Indians).
Wright, now part of the eight event Legends Autograph Series, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union, will hold a meet and great autograph session on Wrestling Night on Friday, August 24th. All autograph signings are free and will be available for fans on a first-come, first-serve basis. The autograph session will begin as soon as gates are open on Friday, August 24th.

The WWE Hall of Famer began his professional wrestling career in the United States Wrestling Association in 1989. From there, he took his talents to the World Wrestling Federation in 1991 under the aliases of Sir Charles and Papa Shango. After a brief stint in the USWA again from 1993-94, Wright returned to the WWF/E for good in 1994.
From 1994 - 1998, Wright performed as Kama "The Supreme Fighting Machine" until The Godfather was born in 1998.
Throughout his professional career, Wright took home two USWA World Heavyweight Championships, one WWF Intercontinental Championship, one WWF Tag Team Championship (with Bull Buchanan), and headlined Saturday Night's Main Event XXXI against Bret Hart for the WWF Championship.
Charles "The Godfather" Wright was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 2nd, 2016.
