HICKORY, N.C. (April 15, 2018) - Due to inclement weather in the Hickory area, today's West Virginia Power game against the Hickory Crawdads has been postponed. The two teams will play two seven-inning games when the team returns to Hickory on Friday, June 8, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
West Virginia will now hit the road for Charleston, South Carolina, where they are set to open up a three-game series against the Charleston RiverDogs on Monday, April 16, with first pitch of game one set for 7:05 p.m. from Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. RHP Garrett Whitlock (0-1, 3.60 ERA) gets the ball for Charleston, while West Virginia's starter has yet to be determined.
