CHARLESTON, WV (January 26, 2016) - The West Virginia Power have announced game times for their home portion of the 2017 schedule. The Power, a Class A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will host 12 of the 13 other clubs in the South Atlantic League over the course of the 2017 season, beginning with the Rome Braves on Opening Night, April 6, at 7:05 P.M.

With a few exceptions, all Monday through Friday Power games will begin at 7:05 P.M. Saturday games during April will have a 2:05 P.M. first pitch. New for 2017, the remaining Saturday games during the season will start at 6:05 P.M. Every Sunday home game will be played starting at 2:05 P.M.
The Power will host two Grand Slam School Day games in 2017, to be played on April 26 and May 16, with a 10:35 A.M. first pitch. West Virginia will play a 12:05 P.M. game on August 5 as well.
Gate times will remain unchanged in 2017. Season ticket holders have early access on standard game days, entering at the home plate gate roughly 90 minutes prior to first pitch. All other ticket holders will gain entry at all gates approximately 60 minutes prior to the start of the game. Entry is subject to change on doubleheader days during the season.
The Power open their 13th season at Appalachian Power Park with a seven game homestand before their first road trip of the season. West Virginia plays 14 home games in April, 15 in May, 12 during the month of June, 13 in July and 16 in August. The regular season ends on the road over Labor Day weekend.
