Chihuahuas to Host Dodgers Affiliate in Home Opener

EL PASO – April 11, 2022 – Chihuahuas Baseball is back Tuesday, April 12 when they take on the Dodgers affiliate, Oklahoma City in the 2022 home opener. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the general public and first pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m.

The first 3,000 guests through the gates with paid admission will receive an Opening Day commemorative Rally Towel presented by Mattress Firm. Opening Day will also include the first Taco Tues and Brews presented by Isabella Foods featuring $2 hard shelled tacos and $2 Rotating Beer 12 ounce can until 8 p.m.

Tickets for Opening Day are going fast and fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the pageantry of the pregame activities. Tickets can be purchased at epchihuahuas.com.

The six-game series versus the Dodgers concludes on Easter Sunday. The series promotions include the NEW Wine & 9 Wednesday featuring $4 single serve Sutter Home wines and a $9 food item, presented by Trinchero Family Estates.

Thrifty Thursday presented by Speaking Rock Entertainment returns with $2 specials until 8 p.m. and Friday includes a Magnet Schedule giveaway presented by Southwest University and the Chihuahuas will also be celebrating Jackie Robinson Day.

Saturday features the popular Fireworks Spectacular and Easter Sunday will include a post-game Easter Egg Scramble for children 12 and under as well as Sunday Funday Seltzers for $5.
