P-Rays / Tampa Bay contract extended by two years

October 10, 2014

The Princeton Rays announced today (October 9) that their working agreement as a baseball affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays has been extended by Tampa Bay for two more years through the completion of the 2016 season.

"We are excited by this news as we have always carried our label as a Tampa Bay Rays' affiliate with a sense of great pride," commented P-Rays General Manager Jim Holland in making the announcement. He added when this newest agreement reaches its conclusion that Princeton will have been affiliated with the Tampa Bay Rays for 20 consecutive seasons.
The most recent edition of Princeton professional baseball, the 2014 Princeton Rays, was the second winningest team in the Princeton franchise's 27-year history with 40 victories and reached the postseason playoffs for only the third time in franchise history.
The organization is already making preparations for the 2015 season and persons needing more information are asked to contact the team either by e-mail at [email protected] or by telephone at 304-487-2000.
