The Pulaski Yankees Pink in the Park promotional night is set for Sunday, August 13th when the pinstripers take on the Bristol Pirates. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite pink clothing and help pink-out Calfee Park to help raise Breast Cancer Awareness.
"Pink in the park is about remembering those who have gone on before us, supporting those who are currently fighting, and celebrating the survivors of breast cancer. We hope this event raises awareness and spreads love to all who have been touched by breast cancer," said Yankees Assistant Manager Christina Edney.
A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Susan G. Komen. Calfee Park will also be donating 25% of proceeds made from the sale of Pink in the Park t-shirts.
