Pulaski Yankees Announce 2017 Front Office Staff
Pulaski, Virginia - The Pulaski Yankees have released their front office staff for the 2017 season. General Manager Blair Hoke enters her fourth season with Pulaski, including her second year as the GM.Under her guidance the Yankees led the Appalachian League in attendance last season drawing over 57,000 fans to Calfee Park. Hoke is excited to be joined by Assistant General Manager Christina Edney, who enters her first season with the Pulaski Yankees.
"We are very excited about the upcoming 2017 season as Calfee Park has several unique promotions planned to enhance the fan experience. We are excited to welcome Christina to the Pulaski Yankees team and look forward to the energy she will bring to Calfee Park," said Hoke.
Edney is a Pulaski County native and a 2012 graduate of Liberty University, where she earned a degree in Sports Journalism, including a minor in youth ministry. She joins the Yankees after working as an Associate Producer at WDBJ7 and then a reporter covering sports and news at WHSV.
"I'm excited to be back at the ballpark and back in the New River Valley! Calfee has meant a lot to my family for a long time. I'm thankful for this opportunity to give back to the community and be a part of the Pulaski Yankees," said Edney on her new role as Assistant GM.
Opening day at Calfee Park is set for June 22nd when the Yankees will host the Princeton Rays.

The Pulaski Yankees are the Rookie level affiliate of the New York Yankees playing in the Appalachian League. Pulaski is celebrating its 51st season in the Appalachian League in 2016.
