The Pulaski River Turtles remained undefeated against the Princeton WhistlePigs after a 6-4 win on Saturday night.

The game looked to be a shootout early, but impressive relief pitching would be the game's story.

Princeton jumped out to a three-run lead in the first, but a grand slam from third baseman Ryan Johnson (5) would turn the game around and make it 4-3 after one inning.

In the fourth, an RBI single from first baseman Ryland Zaborowski would bring in Carter Newman and extend their lead to two.

In the bottom of the fifth, one of the rarest plays in baseball would occur where Princeton's Chris Canada would throw an immaculate inning as he would throw nine pitches, with all being strikes.

Princeton would pull within one in the seventh, but a solo shot from first baseman Ryland Zaborowski, his first of the year, would negate that run and make it a 5-4 ballgame. In the eighth, Pulaski would add on an insurance run thanks to an RBI triple from Rodney Green Jr. that would make the final 6-4.

Starter Hunter Hargett got the win going five innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while walking two and striking out seven. Princeton's starter Stone Evers would get the loss, going three innings, allowing four hits, four runs, walking four and striking out two.

The Player of the Game goes to Ryan Johnson as his grand slam gave him the nod.

Pulaski will look for the series sweep with a rematch against Princeton on Sunday in a seven-inning game.
