Quad Cities built a pair of four-run leads as it appeared they were prepared to take control of the contest each time.
The lead carried into the ninth with Cabral taking the hill for his second inning of work. The right-hander walked the leadoff hitter before registering the first out on a fielder's choice. The next four hitters all reached base safely, scoring three runs in the process to make it 10-9.
Every starter in each team's lineup collected at least one hit.
The last time the River Bandits finished with more hits was on May 5th of 2012 when they collected 23 against the Peoria Chiefs. The Bandits have won back-to-back first half Western Division titles.
