Single-Game Tickets on Sale Next Week

Best Value in Town Soon Available À La Carte
March 6, 2013

MOOSIC, Pa. - While first pitch on Opening Night may be the single most anticipated event on the horizon for baseball fans in Northeast Pennsylvania, this may run a close second.  Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 for all, sooner for some, single-game tickets for the RailRiders' 2013 season will be on sale.  Fans can pick, based on availability, the games they most want to attend among the entire 72-game home schedule, including Opening Night.

RailRiders' ticket package holders get the bonus of a jump on the action.  They will be able to purchase single-game tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 14 on SWBRailRiders.com only.  All fans that like the RailRiders' official Facebook page or follow the team's official Twitter handle will have the opportunity to buy single-game tickets online only at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 15.

Beginning on March 16, all fans can purchase tickets by stopping by the PNC Field box office, by calling the team's offices at 570-969-2255, or on the web at swbrailriders.com.  Season ticket, group, and hospitality packages are still available.

"Families will not find a better bang for their buck than our games at PNC Field," said Rob Crain, president/general manager of the RailRiders. "A family of four can get four tickets, four hot dogs, two Pepsi sodas, two Bud Lights, four GuideRail programs and free parking all for just $50.  Combine that with the quality of our entertainment and the convenience of our location and you've got the best deal around."

It should be noted, the $50 cost for a family of four to enjoy a full night of fun includes full price for each amenity.  Throughout the season on a nearly daily basis, some form of promotion will knock that cost down all the more between Dollar Dog Mondays, 2-for-1 Tuesdays, Kids Eat Free Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays and more.

Standard single-game ticket prices include: $7 for the NEPA Honda Homer Zone (Lawn Seats), $8 for the Bleachers, $10 for Field Reserved and $12 for Infield Box.

The RailRiders' 2013 season gets underway with the grand opening of a reconstructed PNC Field on April 4 when the defending IL champion Pawtucket Red Sox come to town for a rematch of their 2012 playoff clash with SWB.  It will mark the first "Thirsty Thursday" promotion of the year with $1 beer specials and $1 Pepsi products along with a pre-game live band performance and post-game fireworks.
