Tacoma Rainiers Reveal 2017 Schedule

Home opener scheduled for Tuesday, April 11 at Cheney Stadium

TACOMA, Wash. -- Following the team's Pacific Northern Division title run, the Tacoma Rainiers today revealed the home portion of their 2017 schedule. Next season will mark the 58th campaign in franchise history, and the 23rd as the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.

The Rainiers begin the season on the road on April 6 in Sacramento with a five-game series against the River Cats.

Tacoma will welcome the El Paso Chihuahuas and the Albuquerque Isotopes for the seven-game opening homestand at Cheney Stadium running from Tuesday, April 11 to Monday, April 17. In total, Tacoma will host 71 regular season home games in 2017, 47 of which are set to be played in the warm summer months of June, July, and August.

From July 10-12 Cheney Stadium and the city of Tacoma will play host to a slew of All-Star festivities, including the 2017 Triple-A Home Run Derby on Monday, July 10 and the CHI Franciscan Health 2017 Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 12.

Cheney Stadium's 2017 set of home dates also boasts 34 weekend games, including 10 opportunities to enjoy Friday Night Fireworks, 12 chances to attend Silver Bullet Saturdays, and a dozen Sunday day games.
