The Isotopes utilized a pair of homers to pull ahead 2-1 in the fourth. Outfielder Joc Pederson tied the score at one after leading off the inning with his 16th home run of the season. Former Rainiers third baseman Alex Liddi put the 'Topes on top when he took a solo shot deep one out later.

Albuquerque's lead stretched to 4-1 in the top of the seventh before Tacoma tallied its final run of the night in the bottom of the inning. Catcher Jesus Sucre hit the fourth triple of his professional career and his first since August 8, 2010 to drive in outfielder Jabari Blash in the seventh.
