Quakes Host Championship Trophy Viewing Party

Fans invited to take photos with the Cal League Championship Trophy on Oct. 15

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA - To celebrate its historic 2015 All-Star Season, the Quakes will host a California League Championship Trophy Viewing Party on Thursday, October 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at LoanMart Field. Fans will have the opportunity to take photos with the Championship Trophy, purchase their Quakes Championship merchandise and learn more about how they can be a part of the Quakes 2016 season.

This event, free and open to the public, will allow fans their first look at the Championship trophy since the Quakes swept the San Jose Giants in the California League Championship series on September 19th in San Jose.

For Quakes MVPs, a special reception will be held in the Montejo Dugout Decks with complimentary food and beverages. MVPs are required to RSVP to the Quakes ticket office at 909.481.5000 no later than October 13th.

Parking is free and concessions will be available for fans to spend an evening at LoanMart Field and celebrate with Quakes mascots who will be on-hand for additional photo opportunities. Fans interested in renewing or purchasing 2016 ticket plans can speak with Quakes ticket representatives and explore seating options.

About the California League Championship

With a three-game sweep in the California League Championship Series, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes became California League Champions this past September for the first time since 1994. Cal League All-Star Cody Bellinger had three extra-base hits and hit a homerun to be named series MVP and lead the Quakes to a 5-0 win over the San Jose Giants in Game 3. The Quakes advanced to the Championship Series with a dramatic Game 5 walk-off win to be South Division Champions. They earned a spot in the postseason with First-Half South Division title and finished the season 18 games over .500.
