Celebrate Your Faith Nights return with Christian Rock Band Boundaries

(Reading, Pa.) - The Reading Fightin Phils have announced "Celebrate Your Faith" nights are returning to America's Classic Ballpark for its 16th consecutive season. "Celebrate Your Faith" nights will be held on Thursday, June 14th at 7:05 p.m., Sunday, July 22nd at 5:05 p.m., and Sunday, August 12th at 5:05 p.m. "Celebrate Your Faith" nights this season are presented by the Berks Conference of Churches and 69 WFMZ-TV.
Christian Rock Band Boundaries features local Wilson High School seniors Jablaze Roman, Stephen Awurumibe and Watson Maack. They were founded in October of 2015. They will be performing post-game on Thursday, June 14th at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday, July 22nd at 5:05 p.m. Another local Christian Rock band will perform during the third Faith Night on Sunday, August 12th.
On Celebrate Your Faith nights, faith based groups are invited to meet with Reading Fightin Phils players during a post-game faith discussion. During the gatherings, members of the Fightin Phils team discuss their faith and the role it plays in their lives as professional athletes striving to make it to the Major Leagues. Fan involvement is encouraged as the players do take questions from the audience.
"Celebrate Your Faith" nights are open to church youth groups, social organizations, and the entire congregation to attend. Fightin Phils players began speaking about their faith with fans during the 2003 season when a dozen groups took part in the program.
Groups (minimum 20) interested in attending a discussion and ballgame should contact the Fightin Phils Groups Sales Department at 610-375-8469 or send an email to j[email protected]. Each church that reserves a group outing during one of the three Celebrate Your Faith Nights may select a representative to throw out a complimentary Ceremonial First Pitch prior to the game.
Post-game fireworks will take place in conjunction with "Celebrate Your Faith" after the game on Thursday, June 14th.
