Fightin Phils Named in Top 25 in MiLB Merchandise Sales in 2017
(Reading, PA) - Minor League Baseball today announced that the Reading Fightin Phils, the proud double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, made the list of Top 25 teams in licensed merchandise sales for 2017. The numbers are based on total licensed merchandise sales from January 1 - December 21, 2017.

The numbers are based on total licensed merchandise sales from January 1 - December 21, 2017. Minor League Baseball set a record with more than $70.8 million in retail sales, a combined effort from all 160 teams.

Twenty-one different major league organizations were represented by teams on the list, with only the Philadelphia Phillies, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres and the Miami Marlins placing two affiliates in the Top 25. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, joined the Fightin Phils in making the Phillies as one of the four organizations to make that happen.
