After JoJo Romero (0-3) threw just four pitches in a scoreless first inning, the Senators (38-23) jumped ahead in the second.
Chuck Taylor led off with a double to left, and with two down Spencer Kieboom lofted a 3-1 pitch out to left for his first home run of the season, putting Harrisburg up 2-0.
Romero settled in until Harrisburg opened it up in the sixth. Taylor got a rally going with a leadoff single, as the Senators proceeded to collect five consecutive hits. Dante Bichette Jr. doubled, and Ian Sagdal, Kieboom, and Rhett Wiseman each singled home runs to make it 5-0.
Jonathan Hennigan entered in relief, and with one down Luis Garcia's base hit to right scored Kieboom to extend the deficit to six. Hennigan went on to toss two scoreless innings in relief, and has permitted only one run in nine innings of work for Reading.
Reading (33-25) broke up the shutout in the sixth, after Mickey Moniak singled and Darick Hall rocketed a double to right to set up second and third. Listi followed with a sky-high sac fly to the warning track in left, plating Moniak to make it 6-1.
The Fightins wrap up the three-game set with Harrisburg on Sunday at 5:15 p.m., with David Parkinson on the bump against former Fightin Phil Mario Sanchez. The game will be broadcast on 610 ESPN and the Fightins radio network beginning at 4:45 p.m.u1:p
