Fightins to Hold Series of Baseball and Softball Camps Starting June 11th

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils will play host to a series of baseball and softball camps this summer, led by Baseballtown Hall of Famer Mike Spidale, Fightins manager Shawn Williams, and Lock Haven softball Preseason All-American Bekah Slattery.
Fightin Phils Baseball Camps are for children ages 7-14. The camps run for three days, and will take place June 11-13, June 18-20, July 1-3, July 11-13, and July 18-20, while a softball-only camp will be held from August 6-8.
The camps are from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. each day, with day one instruction at FirstEnergy Stadium and the remaining two days at Rip It Batting Cages. The baseball camp includes three days of instruction by Fightin Phils players, plus each participant will receive a baseball camp T-shirt and two general admission tickets for a Fightin Phils game, where participants in the camp will be recognized. Each camp is limited to only 125 players.
The cost for an individual camper is $100 each, with discounts available when two or more players sign up together. With 10 or more campers, the price is only $70 each, and the kids will stay together throughout the camp.
The R-Phils will also host Fun and Fundamentals Baseball Camps for kids ages 4-7. These camps will include field instruction at FirstEnergy Stadium on day one and at Rip It Batting Cages on day two, fun baseball activities followed by a medal ceremony, player autograph session, access to Phunland, and lunch with Fightins players.
Fun and Fundamentals camps will take place June 28-29, and July 22-23. They are hosted by two-time Fightins MVP and 2017 Baseballtown Hall of Fame inductee Mike Spidale, along with current Fightins players. Each camp is two days long and the cost is $80 per camper.
