BOX SCORE HBG 4 REA 5

The R-Phils walked it off against the Senators, courtesy of Arquimedes Gamboa with his pinch-hit heroics to bring in Josh Stephen on an RBI single, winning 5-4.

Victor Santos got the start for Reading, and he had yet another impressive start. Santos went six innings, allowing just one earned on five hits.

Jorge Bonifacio put the Fightins up first, as he sent a fastball over the fence in right to take a 1-0 lead.

Then, following a solo shot from Harrisburg's KJ Harrison, Madison Stokes launched a no-doubter to deep center for a three-run blast.

The Senators tied it up in the top of the eighth, before Braden Zarbnisky (W, 4-1) stranded a runner in scoring position and one away.

Zarbnisky then had a quick ninth, working out of a fielding error that put a runner on second and keeping Reading one swing away from a victory.

Stephen singled to open the inning, and then moved over to second on a wild pitch. This set him up perfectly for Gamboa, who only needed one pitch to give the Fightins the win 5-4.
