R-Phils T-Shirt Giveaways in August!

The Reading Fightin Phils are happy to announce that there will be three more must-have T-Shirt giveaways games during the two-week homestand later this month. Wed 8/11, 7:05 vs. Akron RubberDucks (Indians), 20th Anniversary R-Phils Mascot Band T-Shirt (First 1,000 Kids 14 & Under) - Redner's Markets. Gates open 5:00.

The little ones can get in on the T-shirt fun too! The R-Phils Mascot Band have now been a part of Baseballtown for 20 seasons! This shirt includes all the stars of the band you know and love: Screwball on Drums, Bucky the Beaver on bass, Change-Up the Turtle on percussion, and Quack the Duck on lead vocals and guitar. Your youngster won’t want to miss out on this.

It’s also 70’s Tribut night at America’s Classic Ballpark with "Lovelace the 70's Band" who will perform pre- and post-game thanks to Pennsylvania 811. Rail Brewing Company and St. Boniface Craft Brewing will provide the happy hours during each respective concert. And, as always it is Berks Packing Wednesday Family Fun Night where fans can get 4 Tickets with 4 Hot Dogs & 4 Sodas for ONLY $50.

On Sunday, August 15, the Fightins will pay homage to their historic ballpark by showcasing the classic, black and white shot of the stadium inside the Pennsylvania outline. Thanks to Hi-Line Merchandising, this shirt will be given in the final game of the season against the Akron Rubberducks, the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, which is the only other MLB team to one call Reading their Double-A home.

This T-Shirt giveaway is just one of several events going on at the stadium for a Sunday Funday. Tails will be wagging as it is bark in the park night thanks to Humane Pennsylvania, while we will also have a “Paw Patrol” character appearance and photo session courtesy of ROG Orthodontics. And as always, all fans will run the bases after the game thanks to 69 News and it is a Berks Packing Sunday Family Funday, where four tickets with four hot dogs and four sodas cost just $50.

Tues 8/17, 7:05 vs. Bowie Baysox (Orioles), FEATURED GAME: 70th Anniversary of FirstEnergy Stadium T-Shirt (First 2,000 Adults 15 & Over) – FirstEnergy. Gates open 5:00.

Then on Tuesday, August 17, you can get your hands on the official 70th Anniversary of America’s Classic Ballpark T-Shirt. Displaying a beautiful shot of everyone’s favorite stadium from center field facing home, you can have a chance to own both the historic shot of Baseballtown at its origin and of today in a matter of days.

The fun does not end with just the T-Shirt however, as Grammy Award winning guitarist David Cullen will be right here in Reading for a pregame concert, which also includes a pregame Happy Hour thanks to Rusty Rail Brewing Company.

Collect all three while catching the bookends of the Akron Rubberducks series on Tuesday and Sunday, and game one of six against the Bowie Baysox on Tuesday. Get to the ballpark early, as Don’t wait to make sure you can be a part of the fun. Tickets are available now through rphils.com/tickets.
