AutoZone Park To Show "Hocus Pocus" On October 26

Hayrides, Trick-or-Treating To Highlight Halloween Event

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - AutoZone Park will present a special screening of ©Walt Disney Pictures "Hocus Pocus" on the massive ballpark videoboard on Saturday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m., presented by the Commercial Appeal.

To add to the fun and excitement of the special evening, pre-movie trick-or-treating on the Plaza and concourse and a limited number of hayrides circling AutoZone Park's warning track will occur from 5:00 - 5:55 p.m., both of which that will be offered on a first come, first served basis before the screening begins. Children are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes.

©Walt Disney Pictures' Halloween cult classic - starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy - is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its 1993 release. The family-friendly comedy about a trio of witches on Halloween night in modern-day Salem, Mass. is rated PG.

Individual tickets for the event are $6.00 in advance or $20.00 for a Family Four Pack in advance only. All tickets will be priced at $10.00 when purchased on day of screening. Tickets are available for purchase now through the Redbirds by calling (901) 721-6000, or by clicking here.

To ensure best viewing of the 60 by 60-foot videoboard, families and movie lovers of all ages in attendance will be seated in the lower seating bowl on the third base side or on the field under the stars. Guests are strongly encouraged to bring a blanket when sitting on the field (no chairs are permitted).

A variety of concession stand offerings will be available for purchase throughout the evening, including popcorn, hot dogs, soda, apple cider, hot chocolate, and coffee. No alcoholic beverages will be sold.

The screening is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. Hayrides and trick-or-treating will begin when gates open at 5:00 p.m.
