MEMPHIS, Tennessee -- Memphis Redbirds outfielder Harrison Bader has been named the St. Louis Cardinals' Minor League Player of the Month for July, the organization announced Thursday.

Bader becomes the fourth-straight Redbird to earn the monthly honor from St. Louis, joining Luke Voit (April), Carson Kelly (May), and Mike Mayers (June).
Bader hit .314 in 21 games for the Redbirds in July and also made his Major League debut. While with Memphis, Bader scored 18 runs in the 21 games, hit six home runs, and drove in 12 runs. He was also a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases.
He became the fifth Redbird to make his Major League debut this season, starting six games in center field for St. Louis and batting .286 (6-for-21) with two doubles and two walks. He scored the game-winning run in his Major League debut on July 25 vs. Colorado, as the Cardinals won in walk-off fashion.
This is the second organizational player of the month award for Bader (April 2016), who rejoined the Redbirds this week. Palm Beach (Advanced-A) starting pitcher Jordan Hicks was named the Cardinals' Minor League Pitcher of the Month for July.
