MEMPHIS, Tennessee -Nick Martini hit a walk-off home run leading off the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Memphis Redbirds a 2-1 win over the Round Rock Express (Rangers) in the series finale Sunday afternoon at AutoZone Park.

With the win, Memphis has won six-straight games and 14-of-16 overall, and the Redbirds maintain the best record in Triple-A Baseball at 60-33. The Redbirds allowed a total of five runs in four games against Round Rock (41-53) and have surrendered three runs or fewer in seven-straight games and 15 of the last 18.
The game unfolded exactly as Friday's game did, with Memphis trailing 1-0 until the bottom of the eighth for the second time in three games. Alberto Rosario singled home Alex Mejia in the bottom of the eighth, setting up Martini's game-winner to right field in the top of the ninth. Carson Kelly hit a walk-off single to beat the Express Friday night after the Redbirds scored a run in the eighth to tie the game as well.
The Redbirds had multiple clutch plays defensively Sunday afternoon, with Breyvic Valera and Patrick Wisdom relaying home to Rosario to cut down a runner at the plate in the fifth, and Wilfredo Tovar firing home to Rosario on a ground ball in the top of the ninth to keep the score tied at 1.
After Jack Flaherty gave up one run on five hits in 4.2 innings, Mike Mayers , Zach Duke , Mark Montgomery , and Ryan Sherriff tossed 4.1 shutout innings with no walks and seven strikeouts. Mayers, Duke, and Montgomery put down 10-straight Express in their innings, with Montgomery striking out the side in the eighth.
With the win, the Redbirds take the season series from Round Rock 14-2 and won the final 10 games against the Express.
Memphis heads to Oklahoma City for four games tomorrow-Thursday before returning to AutoZone Park for eight games running Friday through Friday the 28th.
