HUDSON VALLEY RENEGADES RELEASE 2017 SCHEDULE
FISHKILL, NY- The Hudson Valley Renegades, Class A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, have released the team's schedule for the upcoming 2017 season and it is going to be another exciting season at Dutchess Stadium.
The defending McNamara Division Champs will kick off their 24th season on June 21st when they host division foes, the Staten Island Yankees, for a three game series. All games for the opening series will start at 7:05 P.M. and fireworks will immediately follow the games on Wednesday, June 21st and Friday, June 23rd.
The Renegades will then hit the road for a three game stint against the Brooklyn Cyclones with one off day before returning home for a six-game homestand, where they will face-off against the Lowell Spinners (June 28-20) and Aberdeen Ironbirds (July 1-3).
The Renegades will then head to Staten Island on July 4th and return home to play the same Yankees club on the 5th, before going on the road for 5 days. They return home on July 11th for the second six-game homestand of the season against the West Virginia Black Bears (July 11-13) and the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (July 14-16). Closing out the month of July at home, the Connecticut Tigers come in (July 23-25) before the Staten Island Yankees return for the final game in July on the 30th.
August brings fourteen games to the Dutch, half of which are division foes. Staten Island returns yet again (August 1) followed by the Vermont Lake Monsters (August 5-7) and then the Brooklyn Cyclones (August 11-13) before the All-Star break. The 2017 New-York Penn League All-Star Game will be held on Tuesday, August 15th hosted by the Tri-City Valley Cats.
After the All-Star break, the Renegades return home to play the Aberdeen Ironbirds (August 19-21) before going on a six-game road trip. When they return, the third and last six-game homestand of the 2017 Season will start against the Tri-City Valley Cats (August 28-30) and the Vermont Lake Monsters (August 31-September 2).
The Gades will close out the 2017 Season at home against the Aberdeen Ironbirds (September 6-7).
Theme nights, premium giveaways and spectacular fireworks are all on tap as we prepare our promotional schedule to include something for everyone. A few of the already scheduled promotions to look forward to include a Star Wars Tribute Night, Christmas in July, Superhero Night, Scout Night, and our famous Princess Night. A full list of promotions for the 2017 season will be released at a later date.
