WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY-A steady rain forced the postponement of the first game of a two-game series between the Hudson Valley Renegades and Aberdeen Ironbirds Wednesday night at Dutchess Stadium. It is the third time this season the Renegades and Ironbirds have been postponed due to rain, but the first time from Dutchess Stadium. It is also the first time this season Hudson Valley been washed out at home.
As a result, the Renegades will face the Ironbirds in a doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 5:05. Both games will be seven innings long, and a fireworks show will follow game two.
In game one, the Renegades will start right-hander Tobias Myers (4-2, 3.54 ERA) against fellow righty Mike Baumann (4-1, 1.14 ERA) of the Ironbirds. Game two will see righty Jhonleider Salinas (3-1, 3.46 ERA) on the hill for Hudson Valley against southpaw Cameron Bishop (1-1, 0.85 ERA) for Aberdeen.
