Reno jumped out to a 2nd inning 1-0 lead after a Blake Swihart RBI, but that was the only advantage the team held all night. Las Vegas won their sixth game in a row against Reno by a score of 10-4 Tuesday night. The team used a five-run fourth inning to cruise to victory. Jon Duplantier threw a perfect three innings while striking out four in his 11th start of the season for the Aces. Once he left the game, things went south for the Biggest Little City. Sheldon Neuse launched a three-run homer in the inning off reliever Connor Grey to give Vegas the lead. Jonah Heim and Dustin Garneau also had RBIs in the frame. The Aviators would add insurance runs in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th. Kevin Cron drove in his 99th RBI of the season in the 7th inning and Andy Young hit his 17th dinger of the year in the 8th but it wasn't enough. Jesus Luzardo, MLB Pipeline's No. 19 overall prospect, went 4.2 innings allowing one run to hold the Aces' offense in check. But it would be Kyle Lobstein earning the victory throwing 1.1 scoreless innings of relief. Reno and Vegas will be at it one more time tomorrow with Matt Koch taking the ball at 7:05 p.m. PT.

Notes & Information
Welcome, Michael Tonkin: Reliever Michael Tonkin made his Aces' debut tonight out of the bullpen. He threw 2.1 innings allowing two earned runs on three hits with five strikeouts. He signed with Arizona and was assigned to Triple-A Reno on August 19. Prior to signing with Arizona, Tonkin was with the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League. Travis Snider played for the club in 2018. Tonkin was a 30th round draft pick out of Palmdale High School by the Minnesota Twins. He's appeared in 141 games for the Twins during his career compiling a 3-3 record and 4.43 ERA out of the bullpen but was released in 2017.
Silver State Diamond Challenge presented by Nevada Donor Network: Las Vegas and Reno will square off for the final time in 2019 Wednesday. The Aviators hold a 10-5 season series advantage and have already been crowned as the 2019 S.S.D.C champions. A six-game win streak against the Aces did not do any favors for the Biggest Little City. Las Vegas has won the challenge six times since 2009 compared to Reno's five.
The Croniac: Kevin Cron drove in his 99th run of the season with an RBI in tonight's ballgame. His career-high for RBIs prior to this year was 97 happening twice; once in 2015 for High-A Visalia and last season for Triple-A Reno. The Aces' franchise record for RBIs in a season is 120 set by Kyle Jensen in 2016. He played in 133 games that campaign.
Division Watch: Reno falls to eight games behind Sacramento with the loss tonight combined with the River Cats' win. There are 13 games left in 2019 with four head-to-head matchups still scheduled for the clubs. Sac's magic number is down to six.
