Tomorrow's Matchup

Notes & Information
The Return: The Reno Aces are expecting some firepower to join the club this weekend. 2019 Pacific Coast League All-Star Kevin Cron joined the Aces active roster this afternoon. Cron returns to Reno after a brief stint with the Diamondbacks. Cron has 34 total home runs this year and 29 in a Reno uniform. Cron pinch-hit in the bottom of the 9th inning with the bases loaded but rolled into a double play to end the frame. Infielder Domingo Leyba was optioned to Reno this afternoon and will likely join the Aces lineup tomorrow night. Jon Duplantier was activated off of the 10-day Injured List and optioned to Reno. Fans can expect the top pitching prospect to join the club in a few days.
Familiar Face: Tomorrow's scheduled starter for the visiting Fresno Grizzlies should sound familiar to Aces/Diamondbacks fans. J.J. Hoover appeared in nine games with Reno in 2017 and turned in a 0.87 ERA over 10.1 innings of work. Hoover appeared in 52 games for Arizona out of the bullpen to the tune of a 3.92 ERA.
