Reno, Nev. - Kevin Cron led the change in Reno's come-from-behind victory in game two of the four-game set. In the bottom of the 8th inning, Sócrates Brito hit a two-run single to cut Tacoma's lead down to one. With two outs and runners on first and third, Kevin Cron delivered the game-winner with a line-drive double into the left-center field gap to give the Aces a 10-9 advantage. Jake Barrett came on in the top of the 9th inning and picked up his third save of the season. The win improves the Aces record to 47-49 on the season and 8-2 over their last 10 games. César Puello set the tone offensively, turning in a 3-for-3 night, a triple short of the cycle. Southpaw Anthony Vasquez went five innings and allowed just two runs on six hits.
Anthony Recker opened up the scoring tonight with his 11th home run of the season in the bottom of the second to give the Aces an early 1-0 lead. Daniel Vogelbach would answer right back, driving home Gordan Beckham to tie the ballgame at one. The two teams would continue to trade blows through eight innings of play. Tacoma plated four in the top of the seventh but gave two back in the bottom half. The Rainiers added their ninth and final run in the top of the eighth thanks to a Gordon Beckham solo home run. Unfortunately for the visiting squad, the eighth inning belonged to the duo of Kevin Cron and Socrates Brito. Brito drove in two with an RBI single and Cron brought in the tying and winning runs with a double off the wall. Barrett worked the final inning and allowed one hit and one walk, but escaped unscathed.

Player of the Week: Anthony Recker hit his 11th home run of the season last night in the bottom of the second inning. Recker has hit 149 home runs in professional baseball.
