Dogs, Brunch, Beer & Wine; 2016 Promo Schedule Is Pretty Richmond
Richmond, Va. - The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, continue a week-long unveiling of their 2016 Promotional Calendar with the announcement of daily promotions for each day of the week this season. Sunday Brunch and Baseball headlines the schedule with a special 12:05 Sunday start and unique Sunday brunch food items. Each Monday night this season will be a Bark in the Park (dogs welcome & dog giveways) while Wine Up Wednesdays will feature wine specials. The Squirrels also return the very popular Free Shirt Friday and Happy Hour for all 11 Friday night games. A full list and details for the daily promotions are listed below. Ticket packages for the 2016 season are available by contacting the front office. Individual tickets do not go on sale until February 27th at Fan Fest

2016 Daily Promotions
Sunday's: Brunch & Baseball Kids Club Sundays. Special 12:05 PM start with brunch food items and Kids Club Giveaways
Monday's: Bark in the Park - Dogs welcome for free with select dog-related giveaways (except Monday July 4th , moved to July 5th)
Tuesday's: Silver Squirrels Day! Special Ticket, food and merchandise package available for senior fans
Wednesday's: Wine Up Wednesday & Ladies' Night - Wine specials for everyone for two hours, starting when gates open. Ladies Night giveaways
Thursday's: In-Your-Face-Fireworks presented by VCU Health & Your Local Ford Dealers - Close proximity fireworks from the field following the game
Friday's: Free Shirt Friday & Happy Hour - Free Squirrels-themed shirts and two hour happy hour
Saturday's: Super Blast Saturdays - Extra-long fireworks show following the game (some Saturday's such as May 21st will be designated as In-Your-Face-Fireworks)
The Flying Squirrels 2016 home schedule begins April 14th at 6:35PM against the Altoona Curve. The Squirrels will be opening The Diamond on April 7th-9th to host a three-day, four game series against the Hartford Yard Goats due to uncertainty surrounding the Hartford ballpark opening date.
