Oklahoma City, OK - The Sacramento River Cats (15-24) went toe-to-toe with the Oklahoma City Dodgers (21-17) in game three of their four-game series but fell one run short in their 3-2 walk-off defeat.

Sacramento starter Tyler Beede was terrific tonight, going a season-high seven innings while allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits. The No. 1 prospect in the Giants' organization struck out four and walked one while inducing 11 groundouts in the no decision.
The River Cats' two runs came in the first frame thanks to a two-run home run by left fielder Ryder Jones, his third of the year. Sacramento managed just five hits the rest of the way and struck out a total of 15 times. Dodgers' starter Justin Masterson, who entered the game with a PCL-best .179 batting average against, allowed six of the Sacramento's seven hits.
Sacramento will look to avoid the series sweep as they send right-hander Joan Gregorio (2-2, 2.04), who owns the fifth best ERA in the PCL, to the hill. Oklahoma City will counter with right-handed starter Jair Jurrjens (3-1, 3.20). First pitch is set for 5:05 pm (PT) and the game can be heard live online at 5 p.m. at rivercats.com and on the air starting at 7 on ESPN 1320 AM.
