Happy Hour Thirsty Thursdays

The great Rogers Hornsby once said, "People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball... I stare out the window and wait for spring." Well fans, the River Cats are tired of waiting and are getting a head start on Thirsty Thursdays for the 2013 season! All winter long, join the River Cats each Thursday at select bars throughout the Sacramento area for fun, prizes, and happy hour specials.

This week, head to Elk Grove Sports Bar at 9661 Elk Grove Florin Rd. from 4-7 p.m. As always, there will plenty of games, prizes and cheap drinks for you to enjoy. You might even see yourself on the River Cats' Instagram and/or Facebook page!

Dinger and his pals took over Hilltop Tavern at 4757 Folsom Blvd. on Valentine's Day.

The week before, we took the party to Bisla's at 7042 Folsom Blvd. Dinger and his friends played games and gave out prizes from 4-7 p.m.!

Three weeks ago, we partied at Barwest, located at 2724 J St. in Midtown from 4-7 p.m. If you were there, did you see your picture on our Facebook or Twitter?

Four weeks ago, we invaded Coyote Tap House at 801 14th St. We played games, gave out free prizes and enjoyed cheap drinks. Were you there?

Five weeks ago, we visited Zebra Club located at 1900 P St. There were games, prizes and drink specials from 4-7 p.m.

The festivities began six weeks ago at Pizza Rock, located at 1020 K St., where we had games and prizes, along with happy hour specials.
