River Cats to open first eight-game homestand of 2017

Hispanic Heritage Night, Johnny Cueto Shimmy Bobble, and Bark in the Ballpark headline River Cats' second homestand of the season

The Sacramento River Cats return home to Raley Field open an eight-game homestand on Tuesday, April 18. They'll host the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) and the Las Vegas 51s (New York Mets) for four games each. The season's second homestand, presented by Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, features Hispanic Heritage Night, a San Francisco Giants Johnny Cueto shimmy bobble, our annual Salute to First Responders, Bark in the Ballpark, two fireworks shows, and more.

Tuesday, April 18 - River Cats vs. Salt Lake Bees

· Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Raley Field gates will open to all fans at 6 p.m. 
· Broadcast: Tonight's game will be broadcast live online at rivercats.com and on River Cats radio affiliate ESPN 1320.
· Toyota Family Value Tuesdays: Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and ice cream cups every Tuesday, presented by Toyota.

 

Wednesday, April 19 - River Cats vs. Salt Lake Bees

· Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Raley Field gates will open to all fans at 6 p.m. 
· Broadcast: Tonight's game will be broadcast live online at rivercats.com and on River Cats radio affiliate ESPN 1320.
· Wellness Wednesday - Zumba: Zumba enthusiasts can enjoy a pregame Zumba class at the ballpark, presented by Raley's.

 

Thursday, April 20 - River Cats vs. Salt Lake Bees

· Thirsty Thursday: 12-oz select beers are just $2 only in the Sactown Smokehouse BBQ in right field.

 

Friday, April 21 - River Cats vs. Salt Lake Bees

· Johnny Cueto Shimmy Bobble: Be one of the first 2,500 fans through the gates at Raley Field on Friday and you'll take home this limited edition San Francisco Giants Johnny Cueto shimmy bobble.
· Hispanic Heritage Night: Join us as we celebrate the Sacramento region's Hispanic community at Hispanic Heritage Night.
· #OrangeFriday: Live music from Exito Norteno, $2 off tequila and craft beers in the Beer Garden, post-game fireworks, and of course, orange Sactown jerseys.

Sunday, April 23 - River Cats vs. Las Vegas 51s

· Game Time: First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. Raley Field gates will open to all fans at 12 noon.

· Bark in the Ballpark: Dogs receive free admission on the berm with a paid owner for this game benefitting the SPCA. Special ticket pack includes a ticket, hot dog, & dog bandana courtesy of Lagunitas Brewing Company.
· Sunday Funday: K-LOVE Sunday Funday features pregame player autographs, face painters, and Kids Run the Bases after the game.

 

Monday, April 24 - River Cats vs. Las Vegas 51s

· Toyota Family Value Tuesdays: Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and ice cream cups every Tuesday, presented by Toyota
· AAA School Day: Students from across the Sacramento Region can enjoy a pregame AAA Assembly, courtesy of the Division of Boating and Waterways.
