Friday Continues to Be A Hot Night at The Joe

Piggly Wiggly Postgame Fireworks Help Begin the Weekend with A Bang

CHARLESTON, SC - The Charleston RiverDogs are giving their fans yet another reason to look forward to Friday nights in 2013 as weekends will blast off with a spectacular fireworks display at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.  Piggly Wiggly has signed on to again sponsor the ever-popular postgame fireworks show following every RiverDogs Friday home game this season.

"Fridays are a huge night for the RiverDogs, thanks once again to Piggly Wiggly," said RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols. "Fans of all ages can again come on out to The Joe and enjoy the biggest and best fireworks display in the Lowcountry."

This year, the fireworks show will have a little South Carolina flavor to it as well as local vendor Southeastern Pyrotechnics will be handling the postgame show.

Season tickets, mini-plans and group opportunities are currently on sale for the RiverDogs' 2013 season. The home portion of the schedule begins April 11 with a seven-game homestand that features the Augusta GreenJackets and the Rome Braves.
