Blake Trahan's walk-off single in the 10th inning gave the Louisville Bats a 3-2 victory over the Rochester Red Wings in the rubber game Sunday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

Blake Trahan's walk-off single in the 10th inning gave the Louisville Bats a 3-2 victory over the Rochester Red Wings in the rubber game Sunday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

The Red Wings (46-57) have now lost their last four series. The Bats (46-57) won the season series 4-2.
Rochester spoiled another good start from Stephen Gonsalves, who surrendered two runs on four hits and a walk with six strikeouts over 6.0 innings. Louisville scored both runs on three hits and a walk in the 3rd inning to tie the game after Taylor Motter gave the Wings a 2-0 advantage with a two-run homer in the top half.
Motter's home run was Rochester's first and only hit against Robert Stephenson, though the Bats starter did walk five over 7.0 innings.
Addison Reed pitched around a pair of one-out walks in the 7th by getting a fly out and a strikeout to end his second rehab appearance. John Curtiss walked the first hitter he faced in the 8th but didn't allow another runner to reach over 2.0 innings while striking three.
Louisville would score the game-winning run against Luke Bard (1-3) in the 10th as the placed runner scored on Trahan's single with one out. Austin Brice (1-0) fired 2.0 perfect innings to earn the win.
Rochester returns home for a quasi-doubleheader with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at 5:05 p.m. on Monday. The teams will resume a suspended game in the bottom of the 4th inning from June 24 and complete nine innings with a seven-inning game to follow.
