Pace of Play: Minor League Baseball has made a few rule adjustments with the intention of speeding up the pace of play. Of note, teams will only be allowed 6 mound visits per game, the pitch clock has been trimmed from 20 seconds to 15 seconds when no one is on base and during extra innings each team will begin each inning with a runner at second base. More info on these rule changes can be found here.
