Trash Pandas Homestand Highlights: July 4-10

The first-half North Division Champion Rocket City Trash Pandas are back at Toyota Field for their first homestand of the second half, a six-game series against the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, from July 4-10. An exciting week at Toyota Field will begin with a special Monday

The first-half North Division Champion Rocket City Trash Pandas are back at Toyota Field for their first homestand of the second half, a six-game series against the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, from July 4-10.

An exciting week at Toyota Field will begin with a special Monday night game for July 4, complete with a Patriotic Jersey Auction and the biggest post-game fireworks show of the season! Following an off day on Tuesday, the series resumes on Wednesday July 6 with IDEXX Labs Dog Day, a Mitch Nay Commemorative Glass Giveaway on July 7, a pair of fireworks shows on July 8 and 9, and ending with Kids Run The Bases on Sunday, July 10.

Monday, July 4 – Trash Pandas vs. Chattanooga Lookouts

  • Gates Open: All gates will open at 5 p.m. Trustmark VIP Gates open at 4:30 p.m. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
  • Patriotic Jersey Auction: The Trash Pandas will be wearing specialty Patriotic stars and stripes themed jerseys for Monday’s game. Fans can bid on game worn, autographed jerseys from the Trash Pandas throughout the game by texting ‘patriotic’ to 76278 and by visiting patriotic.givesmart.com. The jersey auction will begin at 3 p.m. and conclude at the end of the seventh inning. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Honored Veteran Legacies and the Rocket City Trash Pandas Foundation.Additionally, a team-signed jersey will be available in a raffle for fans in attendance on July 4. Raffle tickets are three for $5, seven for $10, and 20 for $20.
  • Independence Day Fireworks: Following the game, the BIGGEST fireworks show of the season will light up the Rocket City sky courtesy of Raytheon.
  • Live Music: Before the game, head to the Inline Electric Rock Porch for a special performance from Winslow Davis.
  • Ladies Night: Ladies will have the opportunity to win great prizes and all fans can enjoy $1 off canned wine, sponsored by Reeds Jewelers.
  • Player of the Month: The Trash Pandas will announce the Blue Orbit Player of the Month in a special pre-game ceremony on the field.

Wednesday, July 6 – Trash Pandas vs. Chattanooga Lookouts

  • Gates Open: All gates will open at 5 p.m. Trustmark VIP Gates open at 4:30 p.m. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
  • IDEXX Labs Dog Day: Fans can bring their furry friends to Toyota Field and sit with them on the Budweiser Berm. A $1 donation per dog is requested, benefitting Rocket City Rescue. At the Bullpen Bar, fans can now purchase a pup cup for $5, a great treat of whipped cream for dogs to enjoy throughout the game.
  • STEM Night: The Trash Pandas will celebrate science, technology, engineering, and math at Wednesday’s game, presented by Accenture Federal. NASA and Teledyne Brown on hand to provide fans with information and activities.

Thursday, July 7 – Trash Pandas vs. Chattanooga Lookouts

  • Gates Open: All gates will open at 5 p.m. Trustmark VIP Gates open at 4:30 p.m. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
  • Mitch Nay Commemorative Glass Giveaway: 2,000 adults ages 18 and older will receive a special commemorative glass of the first All-Star in Trash Pandas history, Mitch Nay, presented by Jonathan’s Grille.
  • Burgers & Buds Thursday: Fans can get a burger and a Bud or Bud Light for just $12, available at Dumpster Dive, Gravity Grille, or All-Stars concession stands.
  • Happy Hour: From 5-7 p.m., fans can enjoy $3 domestic drafts at the Inline Electric Rock Porch and Bill Penney Toyota Plaza. Plan B will be performing at the Rock Porch before the game.

  • Chick-Fil-A Night: Fans will have the opportunity to purchase Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches and fries from one of two locations on the concourse. In addition, Chick-fil-A will be running contests throughout the game where fans can catch a voucher attached to the famous Chick-Fil-A Cow with a chance to win free Chick-fil-A for a year.
  • Community Clubhouse Sale: Trash Pandas fans will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind game worn and autographed memorabilia, including hats, jerseys, baseballs, and more, with the proceeds benefitting the Rocket City Trash Pandas Foundation.
  • Live Music: Before the game, head to the Inline Electric Rock Porch for a live performance from Scott Nix and The Side Hustles
  • Friday Night Fireworks: Following the game, a dazzling fireworks display will light up the Rocket City sky, presented by Chick-Fil-A.
