After a strong spring was derailed by injury Saturday, Estevan Florial reportedly will miss at least a few weeks.
The top Yankees prospect will wear a hard cast on his right wrist and be reevaluated when it is removed in a few weeks, according to NJ.com. The site said Florial sustained a non-displaced right wrist fracture and dislocation after hitting the center-field fence while trying to make a catch in Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.

"It'll be on for a few weeks," Yankees manager Aaron Boone told NJ.com of Florial's cast before Monday's game against the Braves in Kissimmee. "At that point, gotta take it off and start the rehab process. Timetable, I don't really have that for you yet. But a few weeks with the hard cast on."
In the eighth inning Saturday, third-ranked Blue Jays prospect Danny Jansen hit a fly ball to center that sent Florial to the wall. The 21-year-old leaped and failed to make the catch, hitting his right hand on the bottom of the wall. In the bottom half of the frame, he was removed in favor of Devyn Bolasky.
According to MLB.com, Boone initially described Florial's injury is "something minor" and said the tests were just a precaution. But an MRI and a trip to a specialist Monday led to the new diagnosis.
"He had a second little fracture in there, which, in the grand scheme of things, is inconsequential because it heals along with the other one," Boone told NJ.com. "It's very similar. It should be -- I think from a prognosis, it's very similar from what we anticipated, after getting all the images and after seeing the hand specialist."

Florial impressed with a .355/.429/.516 slash line, three extra-base hits -- including one homer -- and four RBIs in 28 plate appearances with the big club. That follows a season in which MLB.com's No. 57 overall prospect batted .255/.354/.361 with three homers, 27 RBIs, 45 runs scored and 11 stolen bases in 75 games with Class A Advanced Tampa.
Florial missed nearly two months last year after undergoing surgery to repair an injured hamate bone in the same hand. The native of the Dominican Republic hit .263 following the procedure, a 17-point improvement from the first half.
