FOX Sports Southwest televising Riders-Missions Thursday

David Murphy and Jared Sandler handling broadcast duties

FRISCO, Texas (July 12, 2017) - Thursday night's game between the Frisco RoughRiders and San Antonio Missions at Dr Pepper Ballpark is being televised by FOX Sports Southwest, with airtime at 7 p.m.

The game will air locally in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, as well as San Antonio and throughout the FOX Sports Southwest region. The broadcast is also available on FOX Sports GO. Jared Sandler is handling play-by-play duties alongside analyst David Murphy and sideline reporter Ashlea Bullington.

FOX Sports Southwest has a 10-game broadcast package with the RoughRiders this season. The full broadcast schedule can be found at www.RidersBaseball.com/TV.

The RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, and the Missions (San Diego Padres) open a four-game series tonight, with first pitch for each game on the homestand at 7:05 p.m. The series opener also is Weiner Wednesday presented by Texas Chili Company with $1 hot dogs for the entire game.

The game televised by FOX Sports Southwest is also Thirsty Thursday. Fans can enjoy $1 domestic draft beers, $2 craft and import beers, $3 Stella Rosa wine and $1 Dr Pepper products from 6-8 p.m. The Choctaw Lazy River Pool Party is also Thursday, and for just $39 fans can float the river and enjoy an all-you-can-eat menu featuring hot dogs, brats, peanuts, chips and Dr Pepper products.

Post-Game Fireworks presented by Nuts for You follow on Friday, July 14. Fans are invited onto the field after the game to enjoy the aerial show.

Retro Game Show Night on Saturday, July 15 closes the homestand and features an appearance by Mr. Game Show himself, Bob Eubanks. Eubanks rose to fame in the 1960s hosting The Newlywed Game, a landmark show that exposed the hush-hush of the freshly married. Eubanks also helmed Rhyme and Reason, Card Sharks, Dream House, The Diamond Head Game, Trivia Trap and Powerball: The Game Show.

The Post-Game Party in Bull Moose Saloon features Zach Coffey. The Riders will also be wearing specially-themed game show jerseys, which will be auctioned off via the DASH app to benefit Frisco Fastpacs (friscofastpacs.org).

Gates for all home games open an hour before first pitch (90 minutes early for Founders Members).
