FRISCO, TEXAS (MAY 20, 2013) - The Frisco RoughRiders came from behind to defeat the San Antonio Missions 4-3 Monday at Dr Pepper Ballpark to win the series 3-1. The 'Riders went 5-3 in their home stand.

Colby Lewis pitched two perfect innings, but got in a bind in the third after giving up a leadoff home run hit to center by A.J. Kirby-Jones. Later in the frame, Chris Burke doubled down the left line, and was then brought home on a single to left by Reymond Fuentes, putting the Missions up 2-0.

San Antonio led off the fifth with a walk to Fuentes. Fuentes later stole second and then advance to third on a wild pitch, and Johan Limonta doubled to right field to bring home Fuentes, putting the Missions up 3-0.

In the bottom of the fifth, Hanser Alberto walked and then stole second. Odubel Herrera singled to advance Alberto to third. Guilder Rodriguez reached base on a fielder's choice, bringing Alberto home from third to put the 'Riders on the board.

Brett Nicholas was hit by the pitch to lead off the sixth. Chih-Hsien Chiang doubled to right-center, and a double by Ryan Strausborger to the left field corner brought Nicholas and Chiang home to tie the game at three.

Matt Stites came on to start the seventh, and with one out, Rodriguez worked a six-pitch walk. Next up, Alejandro Selen, pinch-hitting for A.J. Pierzynski, hit a ground ball to the third baseman Burke. In an attempt to turn a double play, Burke's throw sailed over the second baseman Blackwood's head into right field, allowing Selen to get all the way to second base and Rodriguez to reach third, with just one out in the inning. Tomas Telis then grounded out on a fielders choice, and bring home the go-ahead run, which was unearned. Frisco took the lead at 4-3 and held on to win the game and the series.

In his rehab start for the RoughRiders, Lewis pitched 2.1 innings, striking out three, and giving up two runs off four hits with one home run. Rangers' rehabbing catcher A.J. Pierzynski went 1-for-3 in his second rehab start, batting third as designated hitter for the 'Riders.

Kevin Pucetas struck out six and gave up one run in 4.2 innings to earn the win. Matt Stites gave up one run in 1.1 innings to suffer the loss. Rangers' rehabber Justin Miller was credited with his first save.

The RoughRiders take to the road to play a three-game series with the Springfield Cardinals at Hammons Field Wednesday at 7 p.m. Richard Bleier (0-0, 4.50 ERA) makes the start for Frisco and will face Scott McGregor (5-1, 2.44 ERA) for the Cardinals.
