FRISCO, Texas (April 23, 2017) - The first of three Bark in the Park games presented by Legacy Veterinary Hospital highlights today's series finale between the Frisco RoughRiders and Corpus Christi Hooks. First pitch is set for 4:05 p.m. at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
Dogs and their owners can enjoy the game on the Kroger Lawn grass berm, with the first 500 dogs through the left field and center field gates receiving a free Riders-themed dog bone squeaky toy. Admission for dogs is free.
The series finale is also Kids Sunday Funday. That means pre-game catch on the field for kids and their parents/guardians (up to 35 minutes prior to first pitch) and $1 ice cream sandwiches all game.
Gates for all home games open an hour before first pitch (90 minutes early for Founders Members).
The RoughRiders return to Dr Pepper Ballpark for a four-game series against the San Antonio Missions from May 2-5. About the RoughRiders
The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and play their games at beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. The team was founded in 2003 and has finished first among all Double-A franchises in attendance in each of the last 12 seasons (2005-2016). In August 2014, the RoughRiders were purchased by an ownership group led by Chuck Greenberg.
