Memphis RHP Daniel Poncedeleon (1-2, 2.78) surrendered all six Round Rock runs, only five of which were earned, on 10 hits and three walks in 5.2 innings in the loss.

Wisdom again poked a sacrifice fly into deep center field, scoring Voit to give his team a 2-1 edge. Wisdom's pair of sacrifice flies proved to be enough as the Round Rock bats couldn't back Bibens-Dirkx' strong performance in game two.
