'Ducks announce 2016's 20 Days of Giving
(AKRON, OHIO) Nov. 14, 2016 - The Akron RubberDucks announced today the return of the annual "20 Days of Giving" starting Wednesday, Nov. 16. The "20 Days of Giving" is packed with unique, experience-based prizes only available during this once-a-year promotion.
In addition to several autographed items and unique fan experiences, some of this year's prizes include a personalized in-stadium sign at Canal Park, a free hot dog at all 71 home games, a promotional night devoted solely to the winner, and a grand prize that includes an authentic 2016 RubberDucks Eastern League Championship ring (a complete listing of all 20 prizes is below).
"The 20 Days of Giving is one of our most popular annual promotions," said Jeremy Heit, RubberDucks Director of Ticket Sales. "There are several of our fans' favorite prizes such as a chance to be in the team card set or team photo, giveaway guarantees, and a personalized concessions item. For 2017, we are excited to offer grand prizes of someone receiving his or her own authentic RubberDucks championship ring and their face on the stadium cash Duck Bills! We are confident that there is a prize to excite every RubberDucks fan for this holiday season."
The promotion will run on 20 weekdays through Friday, Dec. 16, excluding Nov. 23-25 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
There are several ways for fans to be eligible for the daily prizes:
- Season Tickets (Deposit or Paid-In-Full)
- 10-Ticket Flex Plans and 20-Ticket Flex Plans
- Fireworks Packages (Friday and Saturday)
- Group Outings (Deposit or Paid-In-Full)
- Picnics (Deposit or Paid-In-Full)
- Nightly Suite Rental (Deposit or Paid-In-Full)
- Duck Bills (minimum $80 purchase)
Fans who have already committed for the 2017 season are eligible to win. Deadline to enter is Friday, Dec. 16, at noon.
A random winner will be selected daily and announced on the RubberDucks' website, www.akronrubberducks.com, Facebook page www.facebook.com/AkronRubberDucks, Twitter feed @AkronRubberDuck, and on Instagram at @akronrubberducks.

The Akron RubberDucks are the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and defending Eastern League champions. The 2017 season will be the franchise's 21st since moving to Akron and its fourth since becoming the RubberDucks. The 20th year of Canal Park kicks off with the Home Opener on Thursday, April 6, at 6:35 p.m. vs. Bowie Baysox.
