(AKRON, OHIO) Jan. 30, 2017 - The Akron RubberDucks 2017 Home Opener is only 66 days away (Thurs., April 6 at 6:35 p.m.), but now is the time for fans to save on one of the team's convenient ticket plans, which are all now available online at www.akronrubberducks.com.
Ticket plans include the 70-game full season tickets, 10-game and 20-game flex packs, fireworks packs, and the new bobblehead package. Plus, now is the time to book suites, picnics, and groups for the 2017 season as weekend and fireworks games fill up fast.
In addition to tickets to all 70 home games, season ticket holders receive a long list of benefits, such as complimentary playoff tickets, a ticket exchange program, special season ticket holder-only events, an express lane for concessions, early access to Canal Park to watch batting practice, and several other unique perks. Season tickets are available at a minimum savings of 18 percent off single-game ticket prices and cost $550 per seat or $500 per seat with five-year commitment.
The 10-flex and 20-flex packages contain undated vouchers, which can be used for any game, pending availability. The 10-flex represents a savings of $40 and the 20-flex saves fans $90 over regular ticket prices.
The RubberDucks are scheduled to have 22 home games with fireworks in 2017, including all Friday games, and Saturday games starting in June. There are two fireworks packages-one for all Friday games, and the other for all Friday games in April and May plus all Saturday fireworks games, June through September. Both packages are $90 and save fans $40 over regular ticket prices.
New in 2017 is the bobblehead package. For $100, season ticket holders can guarantee they receive all six scheduled bobbleheads without needing to wait in lines! The bobblehead package is not available online, but can be purchased by speaking with a RubberDucks ticket representative. Only 500 bobbleheads are part of the packages available for each date. Packages unsold to season ticket holders will become available first to flex plan holders for $20 per date on a game-by-game basis, as long as a ticket is used for that particular game. The team will still distribute 1,000 bobbleheads each date to the public, as done in previous seasons.
Fans can purchase a ticket plan, picnic or schedule a group by contacting the Akron RubberDucks ticket office where they will be given a personal account representative to help manage tickets throughout the season. Fans can call 330-253-5151 or go to www.akronrubberducks.com to purchase or for more information.
Single-game tickets are scheduled to go on sale in early March.
