Rumble Ponies & Lupo's Event Set for March 23
BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies and Lupo's are thrilled to invite fans and members of the local media to a special event on Friday, March 23 at 1:30 PM at the Lupo's S&S Char Pit at 6 W State Street in Binghamton. Representatives from both organizations will share exciting details related to their partnership for the 2018 season, including special information about Lupo's Spiedies Night on May 26.
From 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM on March 23, Lupo's will offer a special "Ballpark Platter" consisting of a choice of entrée (pork, chicken, or beef spiedie sandwich or firecracker sausage) with a side of coleslaw and salt potatoes for $10. Lupo's will donate 50% of their "Ballpark Platter" sales and 20% of their overall sales during the three-hour time frame to the Broome County Humane Society and the Animal Care Council. The Rumble Ponies will also make a monetary contribution to both charities.
Fans attending the event will be the first to get a look at the new Lupo's-related promotions in store at NYSEG Stadium this season. They will also have the chance to win door prizes given out by local radio legend Roger Neel as he hosts a live remote from Lupo's.
John "JB" Bayne, Managing Director of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, and Sam and Steve Lupo, operators of Lupo's S&S Char Pit, will be available to speak with the media after the event.

The Rumble Ponies kick off the 2018 season at home on Thursday, April 5 against the Portland Sea Dogs (AA-Red Sox) at 6:35 PM. Individual game tickets go on-sale at The Starting Gate Box Office on March 5 at 9:00 AM.
