ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The Sacramento River Cats (50-73) delivered two late runs to edge the Albuquerque Isotopes (56-67) 4-2 in the first game of the series.

Sacramento got out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning before Albuquerque would tie things up in the sixth. Aramis Garcia brought in two runs with a single in the eighth inning to break the stalemate and the River Cats would go on to win by the final score of 4-2.
Despite striking out just one batter, River Cats starter Jordan Johnson kept Sacramento in the game with a season-high seven innings pitched. Johnson allowed two runs (one earned) in his first win with the River Cats in eight starts.
The River Cats are back in action tomorrow for game two of this four-game series with the Isotopes. Right-hander Shaun Anderson (1-2, 4.30) toes the rubber for Sacramento while the Isotopes will send to the mound fellow righty Peter Lambert (2-3, 4.71). First pitch is set for 5:35 p.m. (PT). Additional Notes
Ryder Jones picked up his 51st RBI of the season with a fielder's choice in the first inning. Jones trails just Chris Shaw for most RBI on the team (61).
• Johnson's one strikeout was his fewest in a start this season. However, he tied a season-best one earned run in his first win of the season.
