Reno, NV - The Sacramento River Cats (54-71) came through in the clutch tonight, taking advantage of timely hitting and a strong game by Mac Williamson to defeat the division-leading Reno Aces (70-56) 7-3 Friday night at Greater Nevada Field.

With two outs and the game tied at three in the seventh, Conor Gillaspie lined a base hit to put runners on the corners. Williamson followed with an RBI-single before Chris Shaw added another two-out RBI-single to give Sacramento a 5-3 lead.

Sacramento added on in the ninth, with Williamson again coming through with an infield RBI-single. He finished his night 4-for-4 with a walk, reaching base in all five of his plate appearances. Gillaspie was right behind him, going 3-for-5 with three runs scored.

The River Cats are back in Sacramento tomorrow night as they welcome the Albuquerque Isotopes to Raley Field for the last time this season.
