Game Will Be Made Up in June
Lynchburg, VA (April 19, 2013) - The Salem Sox will have to wait another day to go for their second straight win in Lynchburg.
Friday's scheduled matchup between the Red Sox and Hillcats has been postponed due to heavy rain in the Hill City. The clubs will complete the remainder of their weekend series as regularly scheduled, and Friday's contest will be made up when Salem visits Lynchburg again in June.
Game two of the now-abbreviated three-game set is scheduled for Saturday at 6:05, with Mike Augliera slated to pitch for Salem opposite Lynchburg's Ryan Weber.
