WOODBRIDGE, VA (May 12, 2017) - The Salem Red Sox will not play Friday evening against the Potomac Nationals, as prolonged rains have made play impossible at Pfitzner Stadium. The Sox and Nationals will play a doubleheader at 5:30 PM on Saturday to make up the game.
The first game of the doubleheader will feature Australian lefty Daniel McGrath making the start for the Sox against Potomac right-hander Wirkin Estevez. First pitch at Pfitzner Stadium is set for 5:30 p.m., and Ben Gellman's pregame show starts at 5:15 on the Red Sox Radio Network.
