(2) The contest is open to residents of Utah ages 18 and older as of the date of entry. Provided, employees and immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of Western Governors University (WGU), Bees Baseball, Inc. dba Salt Lake Bees, any of the entities comprising SEG Basketball, LLC, the Minor League Baseball, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and the directors, governors, owners, employees, and agents of such entities, and persons living in the same household, and the families of each are ineligible to participate or win. The Sponsors of this promotion are Western Governors University and The Salt Lake Bees. By entering the entrant represents to Sponsor that the entrant is at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Entrants must have applied and been admitted to WGU to be eligible to win. If the Entrant doesn’t become admitted, there will be no cash payout given and the entry will be void.

(3) This promotion begins at 12:01 a.m. Monday, May 30, 2022 Mountain Daylight Time. Entries must be received by midnight Sunday, August 7, 2022 Mountain Standard Time, when the promotion ends. No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail. Incomplete and/or inaccurate entries are void. Eligible Entrants may enter the sweepstakes by filling out an Official Entry Form available at go.slbees.com/wgu. Information required includes: Entrant’s first/last name, phone number, email address, and degree program the entrant is most interested in. Limit one entry per Entrant. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned to Entrant. False, deceptive, or misleading entries or acts will render Entrant ineligible. Entries must be received between

(4) DRAWINGS: A total of four (4) potential winners will be randomly drawn by Sponsor or its designee from time to time starting as early as August 1, 2022 and ending around August 12, 2022 from all eligible entries at the time of each such drawing. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries at the time of each such drawing. In the event a winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours after being selected, cannot attend the game on Saturday, August 27, 2022, or declines the prize, another winner will be selected by random drawing. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

(5) This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Each winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with participating in the promotion and acceptance and use of the prize. Each winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Sponsor. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of any prize is permitted, except at the option of the Sponsor a prize of comparable or greater value may be substituted. The winning prize is non-transferable to any other person, including relatives or friends.

(6) PRIZE: Winners will receive free tuition for a year valued at about $6,500-$7,500 (varies by college and degree level). Winners will also be recognized during The Salt Lake Bees home game on Saturday, August 27, 2022 and receive two (2) tickets to attend that game.

(7) By entering, each entrant agrees to follow these Official Rules and release, hold harmless and indemnify Western Governors University, The Salt Lake Bees, Minor League Baseball and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, governors, officers, employees and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability, damages, claims or causes of action (however named or described), which the entrant or any of the entrant’s representatives, heirs, next of kin or assignees may have or which they may hereafter acquire with respect to or arising out of the entrant’s participation in the promotion the receipt or use of the prize awarded in the promotion (including travel to and from any event), including but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the promotion; (b) technical errors; (c) errors in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries; (d) late, lost, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or undeliverable entries; or (e) injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to death, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the promotion or receipt or use of any prize. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages against the Released Parties whatsoever, including, without limitation, punitive, consequential or indirect damages.

(8) In consideration for being awarded a prize, each winner hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of the winner’s name, voice, picture and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions, broadcasts and other publicity conducted by Western Governor’s University the Salt Lake Bees, the Minor League Baseball and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates (except where prohibited by law). Each winner must sign a Winner’s Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within 5 days of selection or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner randomly drawn.

(9) As a condition of entering this promotion, each entrant agrees that: (a) under no circumstances will the entrant be entitled or permitted to obtain awards for, and the entrant expressly waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than actual, out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and in no event shall attorney’s fees be recoverable by either party; and (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court in the State of Utah.

Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or amend this Sweepstakes at any time without liability and without notice if any factor beyond Sponsor’s control interferes with it proper conduct as contemplated by these rules.
