Down 2-0 after the first, the Bees tied the game on a two run homer in the second inning by Jose Miguel Fernandez and took a 3-2 lead in the third on an RBI single by Matt Thaiss. Salt Lake took a 4-2 lead in the fifth on a second run scoring single by Thaiss, added another run in the seventh on an RBI ground out by Bo Way and made it 6-2 with a leadoff home run in the eighth by Josè Briceño. Bees' starter Dylan Unsworth worked five solid innings, as he allowed just two runs on five hits with a season high tying seven strikeouts.
