The Albuquerque Isotopes hit eight home runs en route to a 20-8 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Wednesday night. The Bees scored three runs in the first inning on RBI triples by Jose Rojas and David MacKinnon and a sacrifice fly by Matt Thaiss and added three more in the third on a two run blast by Monte Harrison and an RBI infield single by Jake Palomaki for a 6-1 lead. After that, Albuquerque scored 16 unanswered runs with three in the third, seven in the fourth and six more in the sixth to put the game away.

The eight homers allowed by the Bees pitching staff is a franchise record and the game marked the tenth time in franchise history that Salt Lake has allowed twenty runs in a game. Manager Lou Marson used six pitchers in the game with Keith Rogalla being the only hurler to not allow a run. Harrison led the offense with two hits, including a homer, and three runs batted in. Kean Wong, Rojas and Magneuris Sierra each added two hits.
